An adaptation of the cult hit novel, Be More Chill is a teenage science fiction musical about Jeremy Heere, the least special high school Sophomore who has ever lived.  Jeremy spends most of his time fantasizing about Christine Canigula and wish things were a little bit better.  Until the day he learns about the “squip.” A pill-sized supercomputer that you swallow, the squip is guaranteed to bring you whatever you most desire in life.  Inspired by both 90s teen movies and 80s horror flicks, the musical takes a look at the frightening, confusing, hilarious, deadly world of high school.

For La Jolla Playhouse

A gonzo musical about the life and suicide of that most influential and destructive of  American Icons: Dr. Hunter S. Thompson.  The musical takes a look at the creation of Gonzo Journalism and the pursuit of the American Dream.  It’s a blood and confetti stained portrait of an artist coming to terms with his own legacy.  There will be peacocks, there will be breakdowns, there will be fireworks.

Book by Lance Rubin & Jason SweetTooth Williams

Based on an idea by Joe, Lance, and Jason

What if musical theater legend Annie Golden starred in a show as a bad-ass action hero?” That was the idea that led to this musical, Annie Golden: Bounty Hunter, Yo, which uses the conventions—both theatrical and musical—of 70′s blaxploitation films to tell the story of a widowed down-on-her-luck theatre actress who becomes a bounty hunter and goes on a journey of self-discovery and serious ass-kicking.
