Think baseball cards, but with Broadway stars, but instead of photographed, the performers are illustrated by artist Justin “Squigs” Robertston. Got it? You're thinking of The Lights of Broadway Showcards.
The 2021 edition of the collectable cards from producer Dori Berinstein and creator Robertston are out now, featuring 129 new cards adorned with vibrant illustrations of Broadway’s brightest personalities, Broadway and Off-Broadway shows past and present, historic theatres, iconic opening numbers, and more.
To celebrate the release, Broadway stars featured on the cards gathered for a photoshoot to be captured bursting through a giant blow up of their card.
